Born and raised in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.  I started hunting at the age of 12.  Shot my first deer at the age of 14.  It was taken with a bow while hunting with my dad and my uncle.  I have been to Africa several times and taken several animals with bow and arrow.  I am very passionate about bow hunting.  If I had to choose between bow or gun hunting, I would choose to bow hunt in an instant.  The challenge of beating the animal's senses and the excitement of having an animal in bow range are incomparable to anything else.  I enjoy running the camera as well as being in front of it.  It is exciting to see other's reactions when they have that animal in close.  It is a great feeling to be there when someone else takes an animal and the feeling of pride they have in the effort they put forth to take that animal.
